(UPDATED) Dancesport added to the Philippines’ medal haul early, plucking five gold medals in the standard category of competitions in 30th Southeast Asian Games on Sunday.
The pair of Sean Mischa Aranar and Ana Leonila Nualla danced their way to three gold medals, ruling the Tango, Viennese Waltz and Five Dance events. The duo Mark Jayson Gayon and May Joy Renigen, meanwhile, got top prize in Standard Waltz and Slow Foxtrot. They settled for silver in quickstep.
