Even though the island underwent rehabilitation for six months and was reopened to tourists in October 2018, the island is still one of the best in Asia, according to Conde Nast Traveler’s 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards. Conde Nast Traveler recorded 600,000 voters who weighed in on the world’s best travel destinations. In an article published on October 7, Conde Nast Traveler wrote, “This itty-bitty island (just under four square miles) in the Western Philippines is as close to a tropical idyll as you’ll find in Southeast Asia, with gentle coastlines and made-for-Instagram sunsets.” Read more: Cosmopolitan Comments are closed.
